CTi Controltech Company History
Art von Wronski and Allan Zensius, both of whom had extensive burner/boiler and industrial controls experience, founded CTi Controltech in 1976. Through their technical expertise and strong customer relationship skills, they built their distribution and engineering solutions business to a regionally recognized leadership position in the combustion controls industry. Sadly, both Art and Allan passed away in 2000 and 2001 respectively.
On May 2002, George Constas purchased CTi, and now manages the company. George has over 25 years of experience in the process control industry in sales & ownership of a manufacturer's representative company.
For over 30 years CTi has provided process control and industrial automation systems for a wide array of end user customers. CTi’s expertise has expanded beyond burner management and combustion control into other areas of process control in industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, mining, refineries and power plants. CTi is a Rockwell Automation Solutions Provider and specializes in designing and supporting the installation of Allen-Bradley PLC and DCS systems.
2008 showed continuing and positive growth for CTi with the addition of the entire John Zink product line. The John Zink, family of products includes; Coen and Todd industrial boiler burners, John Zink process burners, flares and oxidizers and Gordon-Piatt fire tube boiler burners.
The company has 10 employees consisting of engineers, technicians, sales and support personnel at their San Ramon. California headquarters.
CTi combines quality valves, actuators, instrumentation, and services to provide engineering solutions for industrial process and combustion applications. Our capabilities include control system studies, project management, application engineering, CAD engineered project drawings, control strategy design, programming and system configuration of Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces.
We take pride in reviewing customer’s requirements, growth plans and budgets to formulate the best solution for that customer. We have developed multi-year strategies that ensure what is initially installed contributes to the desired outcome and maximizes return on the investment.
